Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion and are normally only for patients on long term treatment.

There are several ways for you to order repeat prescriptions:

  • You can request your medication by coming in to the surgery and handing your request slip to the receptionist.
  • You can ask your pharmacy to put your request in and collect it on your behalf
  • You can send your request by post for which you will need to include a stamped addressed envelope to enable us to return your prescription. Please allow five working days for your prescription to be returned to you.

Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be processed

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
